Scope and Objective -
This USCG approved upgrade master course is for the student that is a current Atlantis Student or holder of a Six Pack - OUPV License wishing to Upgrade to a license as Master 100 ton
. This License allows you to carrying more than six passengers for hire. In addition, Master Upgrade allows you to operate inspected vessels as well as uninspected vessels and you can carry more than six paying passengers.
The license will allow you to operate/captain vessels like head boats, assistance towboats, large passenger capacity tour boats, etc.
This is the most common license held by charter boat captains and the Captains of small crew boats, supply boats, oil spill recovery vessels and Small passenger vessels.
This endorsement is issued with Tonnage limitations of 25, 50 or 100 depending on the qualifying of the experience of the applicant.
And either an inland or near coastal route. A mariner holding a captain's license as Master 25, 50 or 100 tons may serve as first or second captain on any inspected vessel within the Limitations on the endorsement or as the Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV).
End of topic (EOT) exercises and exams to insure students are knowledgeable of the subject matter as Opposed to just being able to pass the exam The online course will provide students with the knowledge to pass our USCG approved Atlantis Maritime Academy's final examination. However, the main course objective is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to safely operate a "T" Boat within the scope of required federal regulations and maritime law. In order to successfully complete the online requirements, students will be required to demonstrate Competency in the following areas by scoring a minimum of 85% on each 26 EOT online exams.
Finally, this online course can substitute for the USCG examination. No USCG Test !

Course Available 24-hrs a day, seven days a week to meet the student's schedule.
Once exams are completed course, a certificate of completion is issued to the student for presentation to USCG REC (Valid for One Year).
Once you successfully complete this USCG Online Captain License Course, you take a pencil/paper test at one of our test centers in community (within 50 miles) we have a 98% pass rate! NO FURTHER USCG TESTING REQUIRED!
